Why this list is short
Rockstar keeps the tracklist secret until launch. Six songs and two stations are confirmed because they appear in official trailers and materials — nothing here is inferred from a leak. After Trailer 2, The Pointer Sisters' "Hot Together" was reported to jump roughly 182,000% in Spotify plays week-over-week, the same catalog-revival effect Tom Petty's "Love Is a Long Road" saw after Trailer 1. A placement on a GTA station is the most valuable few minutes in music.
What the confirmed picks signal
The six known songs span heartland rock, 80s funk-pop, yacht rock, new wave, country and Haitian kompa — the widest genre spread Rockstar has shown this early. The kompa pick (Zenglen) is the tell: real Miami is a Caribbean music capital, so the dial is being built around the place, not just chart nostalgia. Reporting puts total licensing spend north of $150 million, the largest music deal in gaming history. Where the rest of the dial likely goes: soundtrack predictions.
Quick answers
- Is the full tracklist out? No. Rockstar traditionally reveals stations and songs in the final pre-launch weeks — before November 19, 2026.
- Is there an official Spotify/Apple playlist? Not yet; historically those arrive around launch.
- Who composes the score? Not announced.
- Can artists submit music to GTA 6? There is no public submission portal — anyone charging for "placement" is a scam. A full submission and scam guide is in editorial review.
