Rockstar's hidden GTA 6 merch list is selling Vice City's sports teams

Around 56 unannounced GTA VI products sit in the Rockstar Store's catalogue, including Manatees and Narcos caps — teams from two sports Rockstar has never said you can play.

Rockstar's store has roughly 56 Grand Theft Auto VI products sitting in it that nobody can buy, and four of them are sports merchandise: a Manatees snapback, a Manatees football, a Narcos tee and a Narcos logo snapback. Those are Vice City's professional football and basketball teams. Rockstar has not said you can play either sport.

The catalogue is real, and it is not on Rockstar's storefront

The list was found by iGrandTheftAuto, whose author worked on the Rockstar Games Social Club at Rockstar North before GTA 5. The site held the details back deliberately — "our intention was to allow Rockstar to reveal this on their own terms" — then published the full breakdown once other people found the same data and dumped it.

Where it lives matters more than what is on it. The data did not come from Rockstar's storefront. It came from Xsolla, the third-party commerce platform that runs the Rockstar Store, whose API serves the entire product catalogue including items hidden from the public shop. The same company is visible at the other end of the funnel: cancellations for the $400 Vice City Collection are handled by Xsolla, not Rockstar. A studio that spent 2026 issuing DMCA takedowns and subpoenas over leaks is publishing its unreleased product line through a vendor that answers questions it was not asked.

Two honest limits. A SKU in a catalogue is not a release — plenty never ship. And as of this morning the store's public New Arrivals page still lists no GTA VI apparel at all, only the game itself marked "coming soon", so the drop that yesterday's Thursday pattern pointed at has not reached the shelf in any form you can put in a cart.

Two teams, neither of them a sport you play

The Vice City Manatees are Leonida's football team, in aqua and pink, built as the state's Miami Dolphins. Their jersey is already in Rockstar's own art twice over: on the woman in the GTA 6 cover art, and on Dre'Quan Priest, wearing number 19 in Trailer 2. The Vice City Narcos are the basketball team, the local Miami Heat, and their jersey turns up on a member of the PTT Youngin$ in trailer footage that fans have been cataloguing for over a year. Until now both existed only as clothing worn by other people.

Set that against what Rockstar actually described doing in Leonida when it had fourteen pages to do it in. The activities named in Game Informer's cover story run to street and off-road racing, kayaking, bass fishing, pool, mini-golf, wrestling, gyms and the zoo. No football, and nothing resembling a professional league of either sport. Corrected on October 3: street basketball is an activity in GTA VI, shown in the Extended Look, which we overlooked when this went up — what that changes is in our piece on the Heat's Vice City night.

So our read is the deflationary one: the teams are culture, not content. Jerseys on pedestrians, logos on caps, arguments on sports radio between songs — the layer that makes a city feel lived in, which Rockstar has always been better at than anyone. A branded football is a souvenir of a world, not evidence of a mode. That is a reading of an absence, and absences get filled; Rockstar has held back bigger things than a minigame.

What else the list quietly confirms

  • Burger Shot gets three products — a ringer tee, a cup tee and a leather lunch bag. The chain's storefront was already visible on a Vice City boulevard in Trailer 2, but nobody prints a lunch bag for a background sign.
  • Macca the Gator is everywhere. Four separate parody tees, on top of the in-game TV show's takeover of the $399.99 Goodtime State box. Rockstar is betting hard on the alligator.
  • "Parody Shards Tee" and "Parody Fob Tee" name two Leonida brands that no trailer, screenshot or official page has shown. We cannot tell you what Shards or Fob are, and that is the point — they are the only entries on a 56-item list that refer to nothing anyone has seen.

What makes the catalogue worth reading is the filter behind it. Rockstar does not print merchandise for things it expects players to walk past. Someone who has seen the finished game decided which handful of Leonida's inventions were iconic enough to put on a hat, and the answer was a gator, a burger chain, a football team and a basketball team — 48 days before anyone else gets to find out why.
